Thunderbolt Gingerbread By The End Of Q3

The HTC Thunderbolt is getting Gingerbread by the end of Q3. After many dates about when the Thunderbolt will get Gingerbread that the Thunderbolt should get it by end of June and now that day has pass and nothing happens. Leaks of Gingerbread for the Thunderbolt has some issue that brock some phone and due to this HTC is holding and fixing the Gingerbread Although it's not a solid date, still it's about 8 weeks before the day arrives

Kyocera Echo Sprint Gingerbread Update Suspended

The Kyocera Echo recently get its Gingerbread and now Sprint users are wondering when will they get the update. It turns out that the update as of right now is on hold due to an ongoing fix as the update brick some phone and due to this the roll out has been suspended.

Nokia 500 Officially Reveal

It features some mid-range specs for a Nokia phone, features are

  • 3.2 Inch screen, a 360 x 480 screen resolution of capacitive touch screen
  • 1GHz processor
  • 5 megapixel with no flash back camera
  • WiFi
  • GPS
  • FM Radio
  • 2GB of internal memory
  • Symbian Anna
The good news is that the smartphone will be priced at the affordable €150 (roughly $215), and is expected to hit the shelves in the third quarter of 2011, just as the rumors have suggested

Lodsys Targeting Giant Companies -- Rovio, Electronic Arts, Square Enix, Atari, Take-Two

Lodsys recently won patent case and now, amended its original complaint against mobile devs, removing one company, but adding five new ones -- all of them big names. Rovio, Electronic Arts, Square Enix, Atari, and Take-Two Interactive have been added to the list of defendants in the suit filed back in May. Vietnamese company Wulven Games has been dropped from the complaint, but Lodsys has more than made up for it by directly targeting possibly the largest mobile title out there -- Angry Birds. Attacking many giants at one time, its crazy or what?

Samsung Galaxy 3D, Samsung First 3D Phone

Samsung has yet to join the 3D smartphone family and to join Samsung will be using Galaxy 3D, a galaxy family phone. The phone is expected to run on Android 2.3 OS but will be upgraded to a future Android version. To power its 3D prowess, the phone will most likely feature Samsung’s in-house developed 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor, a 4.3-inch 3D LCD screen and dual 8MP cameras. There will be an HD TV-out as well to output captured 3D content directly on the 3D TV.


The site reckons Samsung could release the Galaxy 3D sometime in the last quarter of this year.

PopCap Game Comes Pre-loaded In Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini And Xperia Mini Pro

Two Sony Ericsson phone, the Xperia mini and the Xperia mini pro will now be pre-loaded with PopCap games.This is between the agreement bet ween Sony Ericsson and PopCap and this also mark as the official arrival of PopCap games on Android device in Europe. Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle (both unlimited trial modes) and Chuzzle (full version) will be bundled with Sony Ericsson phones and will be shipping pre-loaded this summer. Those who want to purchase the popular games included as trials will be able to do so using a directly integrated billing service.

Google Maps 3D View Cities Gets More Cities

Google maps have a pretty nice feature which makes it attractive from other map application for mobile. One of the best feature is the 3D view on your phone. But only a handful of cities have the 3D view available and the rest just normal map view and satellite view, now the number of cities with a 3D view is getting bigger with  London, Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm, Singapore, Lisbon, Boulder, and 11 major cities in South Africa. So now you can play more and navigate more fun with 3D view

Motorola Dinara, New Powerhouse

Motorola is rumour to release a new powerhouse call Dinara. What makes it a powerhouse? It features a Gigabyte RAM, a 13 mp Camera main rear camera and VGA front facing camera, it'll be using Texas Instruments processor although the clocking is unknown, a Droid Bionic like design but thinner and lighter, could feature a 4.5 Inch screen with true 720 HD. It'll launch this winter but the OS is Android but which version is unknown yet, Gingerbread or could be Ice-Cream Sandwich but the Nexus Prime should be the one using it first

Isis Joins NFC Party

American Bank Payment consist of AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile is now joining PayPal in adapting NFC for easier and quicker mobile payment.  Discover, Visa, and Master Card eventually all got on-board, and now American Express has decided to join in on the fun. Looks like NFC is gaining more and more popularity after Google Wallet is announce, so more smartphone will be having NFC on board from now on.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Have Crack, Builg Engineering Issue?

Xperia Arc, Sony ericsson thinnest smartphone. It has an elegant design, very nice curve making an arc which feels good in your hand. But something is destroying the beauty of the device, cracks on a very small area that you won't notice until its pointed out to you. Looks like multiple Arcs are having the same issue with almost the same area having crack, perhaps a design issue? Sony Ericsson has yet to response to the engineering build issue

Xperia Ray Arrive In UK In August

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray will arrive in UK in August or at least what UK retailer said. UK retailer has put up a pre order page where user can now submit information to receive some update of when the smartphone actually arrive and they can pick it up. The Xperia Ray supports a 3.3 Inch screen with Bravia Engine powering the device so the device can power a bright and crisp screen. Also the Xperia Ray has a 8 megapixel camera with Exnor R Sensor and with Android Gingerbread 2.3, the Xperia Ray may be worth waiting for

Fastter, Thinner Class 10 Sd Card

Not only our smartphone is getting thinner and faster but even our micro sd card is becoming smaller, thinner and faster as a result. This is a real class 10 micro sd card made by Samsung, featuring a 12 MB/s writing speed and around 24 MB/s reading speed. It is certainly faster then our usul class 4 micro sd card, with integrating 3 bit NAND flash memory chip and given 3 bit NAND proprietary controller. Looks like our smarrphone won't be slowdown by this little guys

Nokia Prototype Windows Phone ' Sea Ray' Featuring On Screen Button

Most of us think that this prototype is a complete mock up of the Nokia N9 running Windows Phone 7, but personally I think its true, which prototype is always anything. Maybe it's the same N9 running Mango inside rather then MEEGO, plus I think the on screen is great way to differentiate Nokia Windows Phone with other Brand Windows Phone such as Samsung, HTC, Acer which all have hardware button. Nokia is taking a big step for making on screen button for a smartphone like what tablet have right now for Honeycomb, no physical button

A Kyocera Echo rival has emerge in the shadow, featuring the same dual screen phone. This one has 4 Inch each screen then the Echo with 3.5 screen. The keyboard is said to be nicer then the Echo, and its running Gingerbread. It also has a 5 megapixel camera that function as both front and rear camera. So is this phone is more sturdier, more finish and more polish product of what the Echo could achieve?

First it disguised as an advert, when you click it, looks like you open the Android market but actually no, your in the fake market. When you install the app, in this case the battery saver app, then the malware is install and will you will be needed to pay up for premium messaging. The malware is call CG TRACKER
