iReplay Apples Own Netflix Rival

Apple has launch many things to complete its own ecosystem where Google lead the way now having a very huge domain for all its service, recently with Google + as its main center and also as its social network application to improve its service.

Apple not falling behind is going to release another competitive service that rival Netflix and Hulu, calling it iReplay is a service that provide movie available for rent in iTunes but not like Netflix with one subscription price but one movie per price. Yes it's a huge difference but things could get better once it's launch and changes happen here and there.

And according to AppAdvice:
In a nutshell, iTunes Replay is an extension to what Apple is already doing with iCloud and free re-downloads of previously purchased content. As Apple secures the remaining rights, TV Shows as well as Movies in iTunes will be given little arrow indicating whether they’re “iTunes Replay eligible”, that is, available to be downloaded subsequent times. Note that some content will unfortunately only be available to download five times and we don’t know how streaming will count towards that limit.

Samsung despite the injunction made to its Galaxy Tab 10.1 by Apple, Samsung insist to sell it in Australia down under the globe as they said that it only affects their US variants and not outside the US. But now Samsung hold off the launch of the 10.1 Tab in Australia as rumour says something is going on behind the scene, like a tug of war game that never ends

PS Vita Launch In Japan By End Of 2011, Other Country Wait For Early 2012 " Global Rollout"

A two different story about the PS Vita about its launch. The PS Vita will miss the 2011 launch this year and instead it's push to early next year.  According to Sony VP Kazuo Hirai, only Japan will see the Vita arrive in time for Christmas, with the rest of the “phased global rollout” taking place in early 2012. Rather than a delay, Hirai said the scheduling was intended to give Sony time to prepare “solid” game offerings.

And the PS Vita just pass FCC today so yes, a very big dissapaoinment for those in the US and other countries as they have to wait for the global roll out.

Google Reject Offer To Join Consortium Consist Of Apple And Microsoft For Nortel Patent, Microsoft Proof It By Email

Above is an email claim by Microsoft that before the Nortel patent bid, Google was offer to join the consortium of Apple, Microsoft and the like that win the Nortel patents back. The email is a proof that Google rejected to join the consortium and this shows that Google did have a chance to win the patents but simply refuse to join with all other giants to make it a one sided bid. But Google says that email can be easily faked and this email is certainly a fake email made by Microsoft to frame up Google.

Apple Provide iPhone 5/S And iPhone 4 Cheap Variants To China Telecom

Galaxy Tab 10.1 OTA Update Brings In Samsung Touch UX On 5th August, Hit The UK Today, While Baby Brother 8.9 Hit On The 12th

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will receive the Samsung Touch UX update OTA on 5th of August. This will be the first Android Customize experience design for Honeycomb. Samsung has add some pretty nice feature including “Mini Mode Tray” that offers quick access to paneled apps like the Task Manager, Calendar, World Clock, Pen Memo, Calculator, and Music Player.

Meanwhile the UK just got their Galaxy Tab release today while the 8.9 baby brother release date is on the 12th August both 3G and WiFi variants. While the 10.1 3G version will hit the stores on the 23rd August.

The WiFi-only Tab is £399 for the 16GB WiFi version, £479 for the 32GB and £559 for the 64GB, all available in black or white. Meanwhile, the WiFi + 3G model is £499, £579 or £659 for the three capacity variants respectively, all SIM-free.
As for the smaller model, the 8.9-inch Honeycomb tablet is being listed for pre-order at several online stores – Expansys has it for £584.99 - but recently an Amazon marketplace seller suggested it would drop on August 12. That date seems changeable, however; Engadget spotted the same seller listing the Tab 8.9 for release on August 11 just a few hours ago.

HTC Unlock Procedure Reveal, Giving Away Your Warranty

HTC finally tells you how the unlocking procedure will work. All you need to do is give your smartphone serial number to HTC and they will create a unique unlock code via email. Then you have just unlock your phone, the price? Its free provided that with this unlocking, you give away your warranty. Yes no warranty so the phone responsibility is all your, not a big deal if you're a developer or have any experience in brick and bringing and playing around with the phone system but for general user it's kind of cruel that your carriers or the place where you bought your phone will still repair your phone at full retail price if anything ever happens to it. It's a big gamble but that's the price you have to pay

Windows Phone 7 Finally Got Custom ROM Treatment

Custom Rom is what makes Android so popular, the reason for doing it? To be able to test out new ROM either the leak of the official upcoming update and also to maximize the ability of the smartphone and the ability to remove carriers bloatware or carriers application which we doesn't really need.

Windows Phone 7 ROM is nice, they didn't have any big problem that makes people want to replace it. But people over at XDA has release a Custom ROM, the first ever for Windows Phone 7 and the first one to get it is the HD7. The ability of this custom ROM is not much different from the official ROM like the ability to remove and uninstall apps especially the bloatware. However this custom ROM has the ability to let user switch carriers, in other means it unlock your HD7 and also make the device easily upgradable to Mango Beta 2 by tuning to Zune

Nokia Team Up With Microsoft, Hold A Gaming Convection In Cologne, Germany

Remember the 17th August, mark it and put it somewhere, in your diary or anything so you won't forget about it. Use days left widget haha because on that day Nokia and Microsoft holding an event, a gaming event in Cologne in Germany. Expect surprises, yes and many of us take it as Windows Phone 7 reveal by Nokia, the prototype or a beta product. Although it is really weird to unveil a phone in a gaming expo except your unveiling a gaming phone or a gaming product and something like that. What could Nokia and Microsoft surprises is?

Motorola MB865 Is AT&T First LTE Smartphone

All the phone numbers assigned to MB865s are for area codes that will be a part of AT&T's initial LTE deployment. Additionally, AT&T has set up a tracking code for LTE devices in its payment infrastructure, and the MB865 has the appropriate notations for an LTE smartphone. Also the MB865 is a Motorola phone, so will Motorola will be the first AT&T LTE smartphone? And by the looks of the phone, this looks like the Atrix 4G successor, so we could be looking at the Atrix 2

Kyocera Echo Update Just Confrim, NFC?

Last week the Kyocera Echo gets Gingerbread and today Sprint and Kyocera confirm the update and also made some announcement, a WiFi call and NFC reader support.

The WiFi calling is really nice but the NFC support not so much. The porblem is that the Echo hardware doesn't really support NFC, it does have the chip but not the antenna in order for the NFC to properly working. Could the Echo have an improve hardware or just an accessory for the NFC or a new brother with proper NFC?

Amazon Stop receiving Application From Germany

Amazon stop accepting app from German developers due to the case ongoing between Amazon and Apple in the lawsuit of the term appstore that Apple claim to be theirs only and not anyone else. Below is what German developers get from Amazon

Subject: Important Notice for Germany Based Developers

Dear Amazon Appstore Developer,

Thank you for your participation in the Amazon Appstore for Android. We wanted to notify you of a recent change to your Developer Portal account; for the time being, we are not accepting new app submissions from developers located in Germany. We have been forced to impose this restriction due to a legal action filed by Apple in Germany seeking to prevent us from using the term “appstore.” We believe Apple’s claim is without merit and are actively contesting it.

When you log into your Developer Portal account, you will notice that the options to add new apps have been removed. We hope to begin accepting new apps from German developers again soon and will notify you as soon as we are able to do so.

We appreciate your patience and your continued interest in the Amazon Appstore for Android.

Thank you,

Amazon Appstore Account Team

If this happen to all European country, then most online store is force to change the appstore to something else.
