Lenovo Tablets Confirm For The US

Lenovo has two Android 3.x Honeycomb tablets and a Windows 7 model for release later in the year.
The IdeaPad K1 has a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of memory, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and an HDMI output.The Lenovo ThinkPad tablet, however, the specs is not yet known but it would offer a digital stylus “for signature capture” .

The IdeaPad K1 is expected to hit the US in July, while the ThinkPad tablet will follow in August. Both will be priced at between $450 and $900.

As for the Windowd, it'll use the Windows 7 OS not the new Windows 8 as Windows 8 is said to be release next year in Autumn 2012 so don't expect it this year.

Windows 8 is the successor of Windows 7 which looks different by inheriting the Windows Phone 7 UI. This means Windows 8 is a touch based OS but also work with the traditional mouse and hardware keyboard so no problem as the Windows 8 itself will adapt to the current hardware capability so Notebook can also run Windows 8. Windows 8 also uses less memory then Windows 7 and therefore some old hardware can run it quite smoothly. The beta version will be available at at the end of 2011
