The HTC Thunderbolt is getting Gingerbread by the end of Q3. After many dates about when the Thunderbolt will get Gingerbread that the Thunderbolt should get it by end of June and now that day has pass and nothing happens. Leaks of Gingerbread for the Thunderbolt has some issue that brock some phone and due to this HTC is holding and fixing the Gingerbread Although it's not a solid date, still it's about 8 weeks before the day arrives

Sensation Having Some Touchscreen Issue

HTC Sensation is one of the best Android smartphone from HTC and it really pars with the SGS II. But now a new problem emerge, although it hit only a small number of users. It deals with the touchscreen of the Sensation, reports says that the phone become unresponsive and respond less to swipe gestures which most of the application depend on and when it's unresponsive then it's like having an old phone. Yes no warranty so the phone responsibility is all your, not a big deal if you're a developer or have any experience in brick and bringing and playing around with the phone system but for general user it's kind of cruel that your carriers or the place where you bought your phone will still repair your phone at full retail price if anything ever happens to it. HTC Peter Chou Ready To Fight Apple Patent War

HTC is now facing Apple wrath of patent and the court found HTC is guilty in infringing 2 out of 10 patents and now HTC own CEO  Peter Chou ready to fight Apple in Patent War. Peter Chou said HTC was "confident that we have a strong case", though "the "war" over smartphone customers should be fought in the market place, not the courts". 


HTC is prepared to fight back but also threatens Apple with a raft of patents that HTC recently acquired with S3 Graphics. "We have enough patents to make a stand," said Mr Chou, so it looks like Apple found another tough-to-crack nut with HTC,

HTC Guilty Of 2 Patent From Apple

HTC is found guilty in infringing patent from Apple. Out of the 10 patent presented by Apple, 2 is found being infringe by HTC on its phone, which are

• 5,946,647: "system and method for performing an action on a structure in computer"
• 6,343,263: "real-time signal processing system for serially transmitted data"

This patent is possibly the same one on the case between Apple and Motorola in which this code can be found on the core of the Android. 

Desire Z GIngerbread To All By The End Of July

HTC Desire Z is getting Gingerbread in the coming weeks according to HTC Romania. The Gingerbread for the Desire Z should roll out by the end of June but nothing happen. Now HTC confirms that HTC will rollout the Gingerbread update this month and by the end of July, every Desire Z should have Gingerbread

Which want you one? HTC Smartphone With G+ Dedicated Button Or Samsung Made Nexus 3?

HTC has made some fire, firstly thought as the next Nexus smartphone by HTC, will be featuring Google+ dedicated button with deep G+ integration. This looks likely to be true as HTC made the first Google phone, the Nexus One and combine with HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa with facebook dedicated button, G+ could well be have deep integrationd and a dedicated button if its from HTC.

From the above tweet by Samsung Romania, the next Nexus is indeed will be from Samsung and powering it will be Android 4.0 Ice-Cream. This one will be likely true as maybe the HTC just a smartphone with dedicated G+ button and deep integration just like the ChaCha and Salsa but the next Nexus is from Samsung with Ice-Cream, or the highly unlikely scenario where there will be two Nexus Prime, made by Samsung and HTC. Either way, the point is the next Nexus, Nexus Prime will indeed run Android 4.0 aka Android Ice-Cream

Apple Fill Another ITC Complaint Against HTC

Apple has file another ITC complaint against HTC. Maybe due to the recent S# patent bought by HTC, Apple sense that some of the patent maybe block therefore they add another in order to ban HTC from selling in the US just like what Apple plan with Samsung. Looks like the heats turns up once again and the result for HC vs Apple is on August 8 if nothing is in the way.


Update: HTC has denied all patent that Apple is filing to the ITC for banning from the US. The phones that are involved are Nexus One, Touch Pro, Touch Diamond, Touch Pro2, Tilt II, Pure, Imagio, Dream / G1, myTouch 3G, Hero, HD2, and Droid Eris – including both Android and Windows Mobile devices.


Some of the patents essentially covered any touchscreen phone, including a patent for “Touch Screen Device, Method, And Graphical User Interface For Determining Commands By Applying Heuristics. HTC is very dissapointed with Apple action to file the patent which is what any touchscreen phone would have, is Apple really protecting their patent? Not from here as they are just playing around, bullying other manufacturers not thinking very deep that the patent is very general to all smartphone with touchscreen

HTC Desire Getting Gingerbread By End Of July, What'll Be Missing?

Good news Desire user, the HTC Desire will be getting Gingerbread after having some ups and downs along the road, and its coming by the end of July. As you all know, the HTC Desire Gingerbread is a little bit different from all HTC device as due to some low memory HTC is force to take out some bit from the Gingerbread so don't be surprise that something is different when your Desire is updated to Gingerbread. Or if you're given the option to choose which apps you didn't want in your Gingerbread or just maybe stock Gingerbread rather then Sense?

HTC Droid Incredible 2 Gingerbread 'Soon'

Beyond these and other specific improvements, Verizon promises a more stable smartphone experience, with fewer resets or freezes getting in your way. 

HTC Is Honoured By Three Separate Organization on Design

Gold for the Droid Incredible, Silver for the Evo 4G and Bronze for the Legend. HTC Aria is finalist for communication tools, HTC recently got these phones to be honoured and award 3 of them. HTC ads the March 2011 "Red Dot" to the above, with the EVO 4G winning the "red dot: best of the best" award. HTC Legend and HTC Aria also won a red dot, for high design quality. More recently, in May, the International Design Awards (IDA) granted Gold for the HTC Legend. Thats is why HTC is said to have some of the best design smartphone without considering the system but still the design can make you think that maybe the smartphone is a new one? HTC Sensation Fastest Camera Capture

Before this Nokia said that their N9 is the fastest camera beating camera and even the Iphone in terms of speed and quality. HTC HD7 is very slow when taking picture and so in response HTC claims that their Sensation is the fastest camera capture and to prove that HTC shows videos that their camera is indeed the fastest in camera capture but not with quality as this still goes to the N9 if we compare N9 and the Sensation.
