Samsung Focus S Is Samsung Galaxy S II Windows Phone 7 Version


Samsung Focus S is the Galaxy S II version of Windows Phone 7, it is based on Windows Mango and could be launch during the Windows event of Microsoft Build. It is the successor of the Omnia and the Focus and like the Samsung Galaxy S II, it features a 4.3 Inch of Super Amoled Plus Display of 480x800. The rest of the specs are a 1.4 GHz single core processor of Qualcomm, a 4G-capable connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a rear eight megapixel shooter with flash, but no microSD card as expected; the phone is a mere 8.55mm thick.

The phone will be smaller than the HTC Titan, which sports a 4.7-inch WVGA screen, but with roughly similar hardware

All right, now its time for another Apple rumour, after the confirm of iPhone 5 variation of the 16GB and the 32 GB in both black and white colours, the screen is same old stories. A 3.5 Inch screen rather then a 3.7 Inch or a 4 Inch screen like what Android flagship smartphone is using now. Nvidia tegra chips will come to WP7 later in 2013  as you can see at the above picture, and this means we could see some powerful gaming experience from the WP7 in the future. Finally WP7 will upgrade its specification in order to match android in terms of gaming.

HTC is really quietly brilliant as now Samsung is focusing on its Bada OS and leaving WP7( maybe) so what HTC have in mind? Its own OS but some point to WebOS and combine with HTC brilliancy, things could turn well but no OS is confirm yet, Meego OS is an open source but Nokia walk away from it. Who will win HTC heart?

Some Nokia is copying Android future, in what? Look at the battery bar( Symbian Belle), notification bar( Belle), 6 home screen( Anna) and maybe more in Symbian Belle and future Symbian update. Maybe yes and maybe no, even Apple now is featuring a notification center.

Yes Windows Phone Mango is coming this week According to the Windows Phone Dev Podcast, "next week is going to be a big week for Windows Phone. We have been told by various sources that Mango will be dropping and the final tools will be dropping for developers, so that would be interesting and something to look forward to". This is not official though but sounds like it, the only way is waiting if there is some update detected by your phone so yeah don't get your hopes high yet!
