As the heading says, Peter Chou, CEO of HTC has been given the honor along with 8,000 other to be named a torchbearer during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Chou was chosen for this opportunity because of his outstanding contribution to the worldwide mobile industry. HTC Corp has presented to it’s consumers great mobile devices over the years, and had put the Taiwanese smartphone company on the map as a top global leader in mobile technology.
This event will be during a 70-day tour of the United Kingdom, which will begin May 19th. Chou’s particular run will be on July 6th before the opening ceremony of the London Olympics on July 27th. Hit the source for more on this story.
