New Zealand ISP wants to help users skirt online content's regional restrictions: hulu plus 1020 stock






Online streaming video services like Netflix and Hulu are making their way across the world, but they're definitely taking their time. A new ISP in New Zealand, going by the name Fyx, may be trying to hurry things along by letting customers access online content not normally available in their country. On its surface, Fyx offers a pricing plan that seems designed for those that want to access large amounts of data: a NZ$34.34 monthly flat fee, with an additional NZ$0.34 per gigabyte of data. Where things get interesting is the ISP's so-called "global mode," which it says "will enable residential users to access larger, global content."
