Foreign website Notebook Italia readers reported spotting an entry on GLBenchmark for a new Archos device dubbed the LUDOG10. The device’s listing includes all kinds of interesting information. The resolution for the device is listed as 1920 x 1008. Is this a typo and should have been “1080” which is a much more common size? That seems likely and would suggest a 1080p HD screen.
The listing also indicates the device will have Texas Instrument’s OMAP 4470 cpu which includes a PowerVR SGX554 for gpu duties. Reportedly running at 1.5GHz, this appears to be the first device to surface in GLBenchmark with this chipset. The Archos unit is listed as running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Much of the speculation regarding the device is that it is a gaming console. Anyone else want to take a guess as to what the LUDOG10 may be?
