Hewlett-Packard Will Focus On Windows 8 and Intel For Its Tablets:

There will be two broad categories of slates running Microsoft’s platform: those based on ARM chips that will run Windows RT and those that have an Intel x86 chip at their core, running Windows 8. Out of the two, Hewlett-Packard, the largest maker of personal computers, will only go with the Intel chip (at least at the beginning). It is surely a hard hit for ARM to not have its chips powering HP’s slates but, as Marlene Somsak, spokesperson for the computer maker stated, the first HP tablet running Windows 8 will be addressing the business market.
