Samsung Galaxy Note 2 All Set for October 2012 Launch?

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 All Set for October 2012 Launch?:

The next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Note could arrive this coming October. When the original Samsung Galaxy Note was released, its success mostly dependent on how it was able to create its own niche: the phablet, or the phone-tablet hybrid.
Despite the fact that viewing content on a 5.3-inch display is not as enjoyable as doing so on a 9.7-inch screen, many appreciated the portability of the Samsung Galaxy Note. The stylus, in addition, was a bonus, since it allowed users to explore new functionalities in some apps built precisely for the input device. Now, as rumors of a sequel device float around, it seems that Samsung has to think of new ways to please consumers, especially as new devices flood the electronics market.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 allegedly will have a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD screen with WSXGA+ resolution at 1680 x 1050 pixels and Gorilla Glass protection. The size makes it 0.2 inch bigger than the 5.3-inch Galaxy Note display. This could be a response to complaints that the screen is too small to enjoy the stylus-based apps. Its hardware inside would probably be a 1.5 quad-core GHz processor, like what is found on the Samsung Galaxy S III, the Huawei Ascend P1, and the HTC One X. However, some still suggest that a dual-core processor might be down for the Galaxy Note 2. This CPU will also come with 1.5 to 2 GB of RAM. An Exynos 5250 chipset is also possible, along with 4G connectivity. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is also expected.
As for the camera, an eight megapixel camera with a better lens and an enhanced image sensor for higher-quality photos should be appropriate for the Galaxy Note 2. Naturally, the stylus will also be retained as one of the signature features of the Galaxy Note. The recently released Samsung Galaxy SIII might, in addition, share some features with this upcoming device, including NFC, SmartStay, S Voice and S Beam.
The fall release of the new Samsung Galaxy Note would mark a year after the original was released. Still, Samsung has not made any official announcement regarding the matter.
