The last ‘Next Big Thing’ by Samsung, the Galaxy S III has been very well received by consumers and is expected to surpass the Apple iPhone in unit sales, which will be the first time for an Android smart phone. But amidst all the excitement created by the Samsung Galaxy S III, there is another Samsung product which many are awaiting eagerly. The existence of which has survived on rumors. We are of course talking about the real “Big Thing” from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 2. Now, a tweet by none other than Samsung itself, to be precise, Samsung Mobile Arabia, has almost confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Note 2.
Agreed that there is not much to go on, but the source is not a dubious one and coming from the official account of Samsung Arabia cannot be counted as anything less than an unintended official confirmation. The Gulf region saw the sale of the Samsung Galaxy S III much before it went for sale in other parts of the world. So, that is another reason for us to believe that the tweet is indeed telling us about the imminent launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
As for the specifications of the smart phone – tablet hybrid, Galaxy Note 2, it is rumored to have an unbreakable display panel of size 5.3 inches or perhaps even larger. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is expected to be powered by a quad core processor and run the upcoming Android version 4.1, also known as Jelly Bean. The South Korean Android smart phone giant is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 2 sometime in October. But we do not know if this is going to be only in Arabia or if it is going to hit other parts of the world at the same time. Whatever it might be, I am for sure excited to upgrade from Galaxy Note to the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
