Upset that there were no significant updates to Apple's desktop line at this year's WWDC keynote? Apple has now confirmed that professional users will finally have their day in 2013, and the Mac Pro may finally see an update at that time.
Macworld and Forbes both have confirmations from Apple that updates for professionals who rely on Macs are on their way for next year. (Apple CEO Tim Cook had replied to an e-mail from a user about the issue, and Cook's response was originally posted on Facebook.)
"Our Pro customers like you are really important to us," reads part of Cook's e-mail. "Although we didn’t have a chance to talk about a new Mac Pro at today’s event, don’t worry as we’re working on something really great for later next year."
