An official port of the VLC media player to Android has been a long time coming. We’ve been hearing about progress towards that end for literally years now, but that long wait may soon be over, upon a message going up on the VideoLAN Twitter account foretelling the pending arrival of the release. The message reads nothing more than “Android, here we come!”, but for users who have been relying on VLC as their one-stop-shop for media playback on their PCs, this is fantastic news. ...
