I’ll never forget that moment at Sony’s E3 press conference when Ubisoft blew the lid off of naval battles in Assassin’s Creed 3. Watching as waves crashed against the hull of the ship while the sound of cannon fire reverberated through my ear drums was unreal, and fortunately, it looks like there’s plenty more packed into AC3 that will offer a similar sense of surprise.
That’s right, Ubisoft has plenty more new and exciting moments packed into their upcoming action title. In fact, AC3′s creative director Alex Hutchinson hinted at what’s to come, telling IGN:
We’ve managed to keep some secrets. The games industry is terrible for secrets, and I’m kind of bored of working on things where everybody’s seen everything before we launch. So we wanted to keep a bunch of secrets… up to ship.Assassin’s Creed 3 is set to arrive in stores on October 30th, and we here at PlayStation LifeStyle can’t wait.
There’s some cool stuff. If you buy the game there’s two or three really big systems that we won’t talk about unless I’m defeated by marketing in a pitched battle.
