Asus at Computex 2012:
Asus has unveiled a host of hardware running Microsoft's latest Windows 8 operating system at Computex 2012. One of the first Windows RT devices (an ARM version of Windows 8) was initially announced, the Tablet 610 powered by Nvidia's quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Asus also has a 11.6-inch Tablet 810 Windows 8 device powered by Intel's latest Atom processor, that includes support for desktop x86 applications — a key difference to its Tablet 610 that lacks support for legacy apps. Alongside its Windows 8 tablets, Asus also unveiled its Taichi dual-display laptop / hybrid running Windows 8 and its Transformer Book convertible notebooks.
