Bell Galaxy SIII Units Finally Arrived in Stores Just Before June 27 Launch

Bell Galaxy SIII Units Finally Arrived in Stores Just Before June 27 Launch:

It appears that the Canada-based carrier Bell has started getting units of the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone a few days earlier than the scheduled June 27 launch. Reportedly, Bell stores now have the two flavors of the highly-anticipated phone, Pebble Blue and Marble White.
The huge demand for the Samsung Galaxy S III has prompted American carriers like Verizon and AT&T as well as some Canadian service providers to delay their launch of the device. Samsung supposedly has received such a high demand for the follow-up to the popular Samsung Galaxy S II and is running short on supplies, causing the South Korean electronics giant to defer delivery dates.
The fact that Bell had already been receiving deliveries, however, should be reason for hope. This development might imply that other carriers in Canada will likewise soon get their own shipments. Nevertheless, no other carrier apart from Bell at present has confirmed the deliveries of the smartphone.
For its part, Bell is placing tight security around the devices until its scheduled launch, even explicitly barring employees from releasing the smartphone before June 27.
Meanwhile, those in the region who wish to pre-order may do so from Best Buy Canada until June 26, one day before the Bell launch. At the moment, Best Buy is only accepting in-store pre-orders and asks for a $50 down payment. The device, however, will be released only on the day of the launch or even after it.
The Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone features a 1.4 GHz quad core processor, a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Wi-Fi Channel Bonding, an 8 MP rear camera, 1.9 MP front camera, LTE connectivity, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Samsung-exclusive functionalities like Smart Stay, S Voice, Direct call, Smart alert, Buddy photo share, All Share Play, All Share Cast, Best Photo, Social tag, S Beam, and PopUp Play, are available on the device, as well.
