Besides Finland, Germany is Microsoft’s strongest market in Europe, and is of course a lot larger, and it seems Microsoft is finally paying the country a bit of attention.
Microsoft is running a campaign in which they are asking Germans what their favourite apps on any platform are, so Microsoft could work on porting that app to Windows Phone.
Microsoft has specific teams to create apps for popular applications on other platforms, requiring very little investment from the involved companies, and it seems Microsoft is now turning this team’s attention to the German market.
If the app you want does not exist they are also accepting ideas, which may turn into actual products.
The campaign is now open on Facebook, and participants stand a chance to win a T-shirt.
