
Time Inc., the largest magazine publisher in the US, is to sell subscriptions to 20 of its magazines through Apple's iOS Newsstand app. For a long while, Time has been notable in its absence from Apple's magazine and newspaper store, instead choosing to sell its magazines as single issues through the general App Store. The deal will include Time magazine, Sports Illustrated, People, InStyle, and Entertainment Weekly.
Time Inc. CEO Laura Lang took over in January and, according to the The New York Times, made an Apple deal a top priority.
