The Wimbledon Tennis Game Just Lively Arrived on Google Play Store

The Wimbledon Tennis Game Just Lively Arrived on Google Play Store:

The Wimbledon app has just landed on the Google Play store, giving tennis buffs everywhere reason to whip out their Android devices. The app will be companion software for the 2012 games. It will bring schedules, live scores, news, draws, and final results of the games, among others, right to the fingertips of users. Wimbledon fans will delight at the player profiles it offers as well as photos, interviews, best game moments, and video previews of games.
The app is integrated with Wimbledon Radio, a radio service with three channels, one of which provides daily coverage of the championships, and two more focusing on giving commentaries on matches as they are played live on the Centre Court and No.1 Court. A Find It feature, in addition, provides users with a map of the event and helps spectators at Wimbledon search for facilities in the area.
The app is best suited for those who are actually watching the game on the Wimbledon grounds. However, it could likewise come in handy for people who are following the matches from online or via television or radio.
Its graphical user interface is a bit cluttered and might have some room for improvement. However, the wide range of functionalities can be said to overshadow, or at least make up for what it lacks in the design, especially for people who are hardcore fans of the tennis event. Some crashes have been reported for the iOS version of this app, especially on the draws display.
Meanwhile no reports of the same are found on Google Play, though perhaps this is because the developers have already fixed it. On the What’s New Page, the developers of the Wimbledon app expressly state that they have fixed bugs on the app, including the draws display issue.
The official Wimbledon app comes for no cost at all at Google Play, which is good news as it users to simply uninstall it after the event without the guilt for shelling out money for it.
