IPad Mini Release Date: iPad Mini Scheduled for September

IPad Mini Release Date: iPad Mini Scheduled for September:
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has recently stated that the iPad mini could end up being released by the end of September, making it possibly the second product to be launched in the same month from the Apple stable. The first product is rumored to be the iPhone 5 which could, industry watchers are expecting, get launched in the first part of the month.

The estimated sales figures for the iPad mini could be an interesting proposition for Apple. The iPad mini could rival its big brother the iPad 3. Kuo estimates that the initial weeks post its launch the device can garner orders to the tune of 1.8 million to round of the quarter. However, the full fourth quarter will see the device have a massive 13 million units sold, surpassing the iPad 3 and severely denting the sales of Google’s Nexus 7. Along with the above new devices to be launched in the market late third quarter, Kuo is expecting additional changes to be made to the current tablet market leader the iPad 3.
The 9.7-inch iPad will get some major refitting to counter the growing concern among users about it getting heated up quickly while playing resource draining applications. Kuo expects that the refitting is also to do with some cost cutting steps that Apple is likely to take. With an already hit product and two eagerly anticipated ones in the pipeline, Apple seems to have its fourth quarter pretty much covered and should expect to major push in sales during the holidays.
Kuo estimates that iPhone sales will surpass the 55 million mark during the fourth quarter. At the same time iPad sales will most likely cross the 34 million mark. In the midst of all, this is pertinent to mention here that Apple declared its financial results for the June quarter today.
