Rock Band games being removed from iOS App Store this month

Rock Band games being removed from iOS App Store this month:

A public-service announcement to anyone who owns Rock Band or Rock Band Reloaded on their iOS device, or has for some reason been putting off plunking down $4.99 for either title: Electronic Arts will be removing the games from the iTunes App Store at the end of the month, thanks to the expiration of a licensing agreement with developer Harmonix.
Games and DLC songs downloaded before the July 31 removal will still be playable on your iDevice, but you won't be able to re-download them from Apple's servers after that date. EA recommends that customers make an iCloud backup of their apps and DLC to ensure they'll be accessible well into the future.
The news follows a cryptic message EA sent to iOS Rock Band players in May warning that the apps would "no longer be playable on your device" after May 31. That message was quickly reversed, though it remains an open question whether or not EA could legally or technically disable previously purchased and downloaded apps in any case.
