An update for the AT&T Inspire 4G is now available via an OTA (over-the-air) update or a downloadable RUU file directly from the HTC website if you’re impatient. The update officially brings Sense 3.0 to the device as well as other updates and fixes:
New features:
- HTC Sense 3.0
- Task Manager
- AT&T Address Book
Fixes/Updates:
- Call optimization improvements (fewer dropped calls)
- Improved security functionality
- SMS/MMS Thread – Contact Display Fix
- Background Data Use Improvement
Considering HTC has stated that Ice Cream Sandwich will not come to the Desire HD/Inspire 4G, it’s great that they still haven’t forgotten about this device and gave it one last major update. You can head over to the source link if you wish to download the RUU file.
